28 July 2022 HAKS group started with organic fertilizer factory:
the agreement signed with a machinery supplier and facilities contractor to build its first organic fertilizer factory in South of Basra, making benefit from the Poultry project Manure, the project will produce organic fertilizers in shape of pellets for growers/gardeners and in form of bulk powder for farmers.

Iraqi Basra Co. acquired its license from the Ministry of trade to apply for investment, mainly for the industrial projects, it had been upgraded by MoT decree # 24398 dated 10 July 2022

The management celebrated the operation of the perlite production plant.
The pilot plant of 60 m3 capacity was started production and prove its product quality compared to OEM’s limits.
Perlite is expandable volcanic natural materials used mainly as Agri-soil conditioners for nurseries and impanation yards, and used in the construction as well as thermal insulator and void filling materials making benefit from its fire resistance and high insulation factors.
Enlargement of this plant into factory is on the way to be addressed to satisfy market needs.
